Meet our Administration
Director of Education
I think part of why Mainspring feels so special to me is because everyone on staff works together to cultivate an environment in which everyone feels safe, connected, understood, and cherished as unique members of a loving school family.
In that space, kids are encouraged to be themselves without fear, families are supported without judgment, and teachers are empowered to learn and grow together as they create ideal environments for kids to learn. I am honored to be part of that.
Kitchen Manager
Good nutrition habits that are formed early help establish a foundation for a kiddo's future as a strong, healthy and happy adult. After working on reshaping adult's eating habits for the past 7 years, I'm excited for the opportunity to provide Mainspring students with meals created to boost their brain power and fuel their growth.
Facilities Manager

After 10 years of working in early childhood education, I can say that Mainspring is a unique and special place. I was drawn to the mission and philosophy of the school, and knew I needed to be a part. This beautiful community holds space for creativity, play, and connection.
Director of Development
Back in 2017, I volunteered at Mainspring and immediately felt how special this place was. Fast forward to 2023 and being able to work here is a dream come true. The kids, their families, our community partners, and our team make every day at Mainspring magical.
Assistant Director of Education
Mainspring, to me, is like home away from home. I enjoy being a part of the children’s everyday life-learning experiences.
Business Manager
Every single day our staff truly does embody the mission to provide the very best care to the most deserving families in any number of ways. It could be caring for a child needing comfort, supporting a parent through trying times, or even reaching out to another staff member and showing that we are here for each other as well. Seeing all of that makes me very proud to be able to contribute my part to this family made of families.
Director of Operations
I love the creative environment that Mainspring bolsters, not only for the children, but also for the teachers in our program. Children at these ages are so wonderfully curious about the world they live in; I'm glad I get the chance to experience the discovery and amazement they find out there.
Director of Family Services
I attended Mainspring when it was Austin Community Nursery School. I am a mother of five, three of my children also attended Mainspring, and my granddaughter attends now. I consider this place home! I'm so grateful to be around such amazing people.

When I saw Mainspring's wide open playground, creative and nutritious whole food menu, and commitment to arts and science, I knew immediately that I wanted my children to be a part of the community. I started off as a parent here before joining the staff in 2017. It is a gift to work with educators who are so deeply invested in the lives of children and families to see our impact every day.
